MindCraft brought a unique blend of cutting-edge AI expertise and nostalgic computing to Ukraine’s largest AI & Big Data Conference, held on April 6th, delivering an unforgettable experience for attendees.
Beyond the insightful workshop led by Andy Bosyi on “Unsupervised Learning: VAE and GAN,” MindCraft captivated the audience by showcasing a collection of fully functional vintage computers, including a Commodore 64C, Atari 520STe, and Tandy TRS 80 Model 102.
Attendees were thrilled to step back in time, engaging with the iconic machines by coding in Basic and playing classic games like Pacman. The company also presented a slide rule, sparking curiosity and challenging participants to master its unique mechanics.
Adding to the retro fun, MindCraft challenged attendees to demonstrate their arithmetic skills using a 1970 Arithmometer. Those who successfully navigated the vintage calculating device were rewarded with prizes, creating a memorable and interactive experience.
