As a result, there is practically no noticeable progress in AI in this area of activity. Scientific publications usually process existing experience. Perhaps there are developments of such institutions in the field of military topics, but this is not known from publicly available sources. Interesting and promising developments are in the field of brain research and other human functioning systems.
Large IT companies usually have a significant number of AI specialists. This is due to the fact that modern IT systems cannot do without data analytics. Therefore, it can be clearly stated that both domestic IT development and IT products that operate in Ukraine increasingly have an AI component. This is a general process and it has great potential, especially in Ukraine, where there is a significant market for IT services.
Specialized companies in the field of data analytics and AI. Specialized companies are gradually emerging from the IT service market, focusing specifically on such consulting as AI. As a rule, this is not the product of their own product, but the provision of services in the form of ready-made expert R&D teams, or consulting for the production of AI products abroad. This market shows stable growth, as it replaces part of the IT service market for software production.
Startups. Quite a lot of AI startups started in Ukraine. Of course, they subsequently changed jurisdiction through various investment procedures. This way of developing AI is probably the most promising in the future, as practice shows in countries with a large number of highly educated professionals (such as Israel).
The most promising AI applications are language models, text processing, sound, video, computer vision systems, and the gaming business. In general, the AI industry has great potential to grow and partially replace other industries over time.
